On 5th December 2016, the Uttar Pradesh Goriyya Diwas, part of the Uttar Pradesh Eco-Tourism Initiative of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, was successfully executed by Tarini. Held in Lucknow, this event aimed to celebrate the state’s cultural richness and promote eco-tourism. The event was graced by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and attended by key dignitaries, cultural ambassadors, bird watching enthusiasts, wildlife photographers and over 5000 attendees.
Given the presence of high-level dignitaries, we worked closely with security agencies to ensure comprehensive safety measures, which included access control, screening, and crowd management protocols.
The event featured multiple attractions, including: a football game that brought together local teams, highlighting community engagement and physical activity, a bird-watching experience, which showcased the region’s rich wildlife, aligned with the eco-tourism focus, a German hanger that provided a unique setting for cultural performances and exhibitions as well as various stalls offering regional crafts, food, and cultural artifacts, enhancing the local experience and promoting sustainable tourism.
A dedicated team handled video production to capture the essence of the event, producing high-quality content for promotional purposes and post-event engagement.
The Uttar Pradesh Goriyya Diwas successfully achieved its goal of promoting cultural heritage and eco-tourism in the state. The event’s diverse components ensured engagement across all age groups, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The Chief Minister’s participation and the focus on eco-tourism initiatives further solidified the event’s success, contributing to ongoing efforts to position Uttar Pradesh as a key destination for sustainable tourism.
